Scientists from Dr. Mohan’s DSC & MDRF participate in ‘SUNAYANA 2007’, Hyderabad
	Best Paper Presentation Award Dr. M. Rema, Managing Director & Chief of Ophthalmology, Indira Eye Institute for Diabetes – a unit of Dr. Mohan’s DSC, Chennai was presented the ‘Best Paper Presentation Award’ at the ‘SUNAYANA 2007’ Conference of the All India Ophthalmological Society [AIOS] held at Hyderabad from 1st – 4th February 2007. The award was bestowed on her for the scientific paper entitled, *“Association of Primary Open Angle Glaucoma with Components of Metabolic Syndrome– The Chennai Urban Rural Epidemiology Study [CURES] Eye Study”. Instruction Course* A panel of Ophthalmologists, Dr. M. Rema, being the Chief Instructor and other contributors including Dr. S. Natarajan, Dr. Mohan Rajan and Dr. Avinash Pathengay conducted an Instruction Course on “Understanding and interpreting Optical Coherence Tomography [OCT] in diseases of the macula” at the meeting. An informative CD, consisting the course material was also distributed in order to facilitate more & detailed knowledge on the subject.
